Editorial Standards
BEW Magazine holds itself to the standards of an editorial publication, not a personal blog. These are the rules every article follows.
Accuracy
Every factual claim must be traceable to a source. Market figures, statistics and quotations are verified before publication, and each article lists its sources in a dedicated Sources & Further Reading section. We do not publish unverified market data.
Labels
Every article carries a type label — Analysis, Explainer, Case Study, Field Note, News Brief, Interview, Data Story or Opinion. Opinion and analysis are visually distinguished from reported fact, including through the clearly-marked BEW Take module.
Fact-Checking & Sources
We prioritize primary sources: official statistics, regulatory filings, company disclosures and first-hand field observation. Secondary reporting is attributed. When an article relies on the author's own field notes, the time, place and method of observation are stated.
Updates
Articles display both their publication date and their most recent update date. Substantive corrections are handled under our Corrections Policy.
